With season 2024 fast approaching, we take a look at which Bulldogs are set to reach some individual milestones and when.

Note: The maximum number of games a player can play this season is 27 (23 home-and-away games plus four finals)

250 games

The Bulldogs could have dual 250-gamers to celebrate this season, with both Adam Treloar and Jack Macrae needing 19 and 20 games respectively to notch up the milestone. Macrae would become the Dogs’ only 250-game one-club player currently on the list, while Treloar could reach 81 games in the red, white and blue by the end of the season proper.

200 games

Up to four Dogs could reach the double century this year, with Taylor Duryea, Jason Johannisen and Liam Jones all on track to becoming 200-gamers. Caleb Daniel is also a chance, but would need to play the first week of finals to do so. Duryea’s tally includes 118 games at Hawthorn, while Jones’ includes 95 matches in the navy blue, and 66 from his first stint as a Bulldog between 2009-2014.

150 games

Bailey Dale looks likely to be the Dogs’ first 150-gamer of the season, needing 19 games to notch up the milestone, while Bailey Williams could reach it in the final round. Aaron Naughton will need the team to play all four finals including that last Saturday in September, plus play every game of the home-and-away season.

50 games

A host of Bulldogs are in line to play their 50th matches, with the first potentially to come as early as round five through Jamarra Ugle-Hagan. Laith Vandermeer and Lachie McNeil could follow suit in rounds six and eight respectively, while Rhylee West, Oskar Baker and recruit Lachie Bramble are chances in the back-half of the year.

Longest serving coach

Meanwhile, Luke Beveridge is on track to become the Club’s longest-serving coach. Starting the season on 206 games coached, he should equal Ted Whitten’s 228-game record in round 23 against North Melbourne, and eclipse it a week later against GWS.

Career goals

Sharp-shooter Aaron Naughton requires just nine goals to reach 200 career majors, while Cody Weightman’s first of the season will mark his 100th. Of the current list, Marcus Bontempelli leads the way with 200 goals.
