A couple of Bulldogs key defenders will be tested ahead of a bumper clash with the Swans on Friday night.
Both James O’Donnell and Liam Jones suffered minor injuries over the past few weeks and will need to train tomorrow to be available.
“James had some low-level adductor tightness in the third quarter on the weekend,” Head of Sports Medicine Chris Bell said.
“We looked after him in the fourth knowing that we have a tight turn around into the Sydney game on Friday.
“We will need to work through a process with James tomorrow to confirm his availability.
“In last week’s VFL game, Liam Jones was tunnelled in a marking contest.
“He landed awkwardly and has jarred his lower back however his symptoms are gradually improving.
“We will work with Liam across this week to decide if he is back in the picture for selection."
As reported yesterday, Adam Treloar will miss an extended period with a calf setback.
“Adam he had some calf tightness in the second quarter of the Richmond clash,” Bell said.
"Disappointingly, scans have confirmed a moderate-grade injury.
“With such an interrupted season up to date, we won’t rush Ad’s back to make sure that he can best impact the back end of our season.
“We will look to define his return to play plan in the coming weeks.”
Michael Sellwood remains in concussion protocols after being removed early from the VFL clash on the weekend.
