The Western Bulldogs Football Club wholeheartedly supports WGEA’s annual publication of gender pay gap data as part of national efforts to advance gender equality.
As a Club we are pleased to note that our median total remuneration pay gap has again reduced significantly year on year, from 16.7% in 2023-24 to 7.4% in 2024-25.
Having challenged our recruitment procedures and taken action with regard to senior representation across our administration and football departments we are seeing tangible progress in the aggregate. However, we accept that there is more to do to get us closer to the parity we strive for as a Club.
We will continue to apply the utmost rigour to our hiring processes, development opportunities and flexibility policies to enable equity across our organisation and will maintain strong female representation at our highest levels, as currently evidenced by our Club Executive team, Club Board and Community Foundation Board all having greater than 50% female representation.
Lasting change requires collective effort and - along with our key stakeholders and partners - we are committed to realising further progress on the road ahead.
