The defender will take time away from footy for personal reasons.
Western Bulldogs defender Maggie Gorham has been moved to the Club’s inactive list for the 2026 AFLW season.
The decision was reached mutually between player and Club, with Gorham taking time away from footy for personal reasons.
Gorham has played 22 games in the red, white and blue since arriving at the Kennel in 2023.
“Maggie’s health and wellbeing is, and always will be, the ultimate priority,” Executive Manager Women’s Football Patrice Berthold said.
“She has the full support of our entire Club, with our playing group and program firmly behind her every step of the way.
“We will continue to support Maggie in whatever she needs, and she remains a valued part of our program.”
The move means the Bulldogs will have one vacant list spot ahead of Monday night’s AFLW pre-season draft.
