Western Bulldogs captain Marcus Bontempelli has finished equal sixth in the 2025 Brownlow Medal count.
Despite missing the first five rounds of the home-and-away season due to injury, the star Bulldog polled 25 votes on the night - the third-highest total of his career.
Monday night's count also saw Bontempelli poll his 200th career Brownlow vote, becoming the first player to achieve this in the red, white and blue.
With 213 career votes to date, Bontempelli moves into equal ninth on the all-time VFL/AFL leaderboard, tied with Richmond superstar Dustin Martin.
He also becomes just the fourth player in league history to poll 200 or more votes without winning a Brownlow Medal, joining Collingwood’s Scott Pendlebury, Geelong’s Joel Selwood, and Hawthorn’s Leigh Matthews.
In total, a dozen Bulldogs players polled 90 Brownlow votes on the night, the Club’s third-highest combined tally in history.
Vice-captain Tom Liberatore and All-Australian Ed Richards rounded out the top Pup's podium, polling 12 and 11 votes respectively.
Liberatore was also shortlisted for the Jim Stynes Community Leadership Award, which was awarded to Brisbane Lions' co-captain Harris Andrews.

While 'Charlie' won’t be heading home to the Kennel in 2025, Sam Darcy ensured the Bulldogs didn’t leave the Crown Palladium ballroom empty-handed.
His game-saving mark in the Round 22 clash with Melbourne earned him the Virgin Australia Mark of the Year, making him the first Bulldog to win the Alex Jesaulenko Medal.
