Trains and Trams

The Metro Tunnel has changed the way you can get to Marvel Stadium.

If you’re travelling to today’s game from West Footscray, Middle Footscray or any other stations on the Sunbury-Cranbourne line your train will not stop at Southern Cross Station.

Change at Footscray for a Werribee line service.

Via the Cranbourne, Pakenham and Sunbury Lines

If you have accessibility needs and need to get to Marvel Stadium, Town Hall Station is the best option.

You can change at Town Hall to Flinders Street using the DeGrave’s Street subway, which connects directly to 
platforms 1 to 10 at Flinders Street Station.

Town Hall has step-free access and tactiles to help you move around the station.

Bus  

The bus terminus is at Southern Cross Train Station and services airport transfers as well as routes across country Victoria. Marvel Stadium is a short walk across the Bourke Street pedestrian footbridge from the bus terminus.   

Walking  

An elevated, 20-metre-wide pedestrian footbridge connects Marvel Stadium to Southern Cross station and intersection of Spencer and Bourke streets.

Sensory Room 

Marvel Stadium is proud to be an official accredited sensory inclusive venue, with Melbourne's first sensory room on site. To read more about our sensory room or sensory bags available for hire for an event duration, click here. 

There are two Sensory Rooms available on site:  

• Level 1, Aisle 36
• Level 3, Aisle 31 

Sensory Bags are available from the Sensory Rooms and Guest Services Gate 5 (Level 1, Aisle 3). 

Baby Change Room/Parent Rooms 

Parent Room facilities include baby change table, child-friendly play panel, a microwave and television as well as both private and public feeding areas. Parent Rooms are located at: Level 1, Aisles 3 & 28 
 
Baby changing facilities are also available in all accessible toilets and are regularly cleaned and sanitised - see 'Toilets' for accessible toilet locations. 

Prams 

Prams and strollers are permitted into the venue provided that they are stowed under your seat. 

Patrons with prams or strollers on Level 3 may park their empty pram or stroller behind the disabled seating at Aisles 6, 19, 30 & 43, if space permits.  

Cloaking of prams is available at Guest Services (Level 1, Aisles 3 & 36).

Train Disruptions:

• Buses replace trains on the Sunbury Line between Flagstaff and Sunshine from 8:30pm Tuesday 7 July to 11pm Friday 10 July 
• Buses replace trains on the Sunbury Line between North Melbourne and Sunbury from 11pm Friday 10 July to 5am Sunday 12 July 
• Buses replace trains on the Sunbury Line between North Melbourne and Sunshine from 5am to last train Sunday 12 July 
• Buses replace trains on the Werribee and Williamstown lines between North Melbourne, Laverton and Williamstown from first train to 11pm Friday 10 July 
• Buses replace trains on the Werribee and Williamstown lines between North Melbourne, Newport and Williamstown from 11pm Friday 10 July to last train Sunday 12 July 
• Cranbourne and Pakenham services start and end at South Yarra from first train Friday 10 July to last train Sunday 12 July.

Regional Train Disruptions:

• Coaches replace evening trains on the Bendigo line for the entire journey from Sunday 12 July to Wednesday 15 July 
• Coaches replace evening trains on the Traralgon line for the entire journey from Sunday 12 July to Wednesday 15 July
